Glitch City Laboratories

This is a lo-fi version of Glitch City Laboratories, meant for backup purposes. Everyone is encouraged to download a backup of the site every time one is made available, to prevent loss of all the research and data contained within GCL, should the website crash or something, which would really suck. The Glitch City Labs Team gives authorization for anyone to host this backup on their own website.

Professor Glitch's Laboratory

Evolution of Glitch City Laboratories: late 2003 - Nemesis Temple | early 2004 - Professor Glitch's Laboratory | late 2004 - Pokemon Paranormal Research Laboratories | early 2005 - Glitch City | late 2005 - Team Zero Hideout/Super Glitch Alliance | early 2006 - Glitch City Laboratories

Professor Glitch's Laboratory, or PGL, is the second website in the ancestry of Glitch City Laboratories. Its predecessor was Nemesis Temple. Its successor was Pokemon Paranormal Research Laboratories.

Professor Glitch's Laboratory was started by Abwayax February 2004 when he felt that his current site, Nemesis Temple, was poorly designed and could not be a successful Glitch Site. It was hosted on the same Tripod server as NT.

PGL was the first glitch-related site to describe methods of obtaining glitch Pokémon other than MissingNO. and 'M, and for this reason, it was a pioneer of early Glitchology. It had articles on: Eventually, Abwayax (then "Professor Glitch") found he was too tied up, and updated the site less and less as time went on, much to the disappointment of its visitors. Eventually, sometime in November 2004, Abwayax closed it down and started his next site, Pokemon Paranormal Research Laboratories, and recruited multiple staffers to help him administer that site.

PGL Forums
The Professor Glitch's Laboratory Forums, or PGLF, has faded into history, but once it was a happy community. After the unveiling of Pokemon Paranormal Research Labs, the forums were renamed to "Pokemon Complete Darkness Forums". When Abwayax learned of the Proboards V4 upgrade, he tried to move the forums to ExoBoards. Things were good until the "PCDF 2.0" forum crashed, forcing members to go back to the old one. Now, the forum is still active, albeit not as much as before.

Perhaps the greatest event of the PGLF/PCDF forums was the "SPAM and win!" thread started by former administrator Jirachu in May 2004. The thread is over 80 pages today. It is estimated that over 50 users (guests and registered members) participated in the thread. The winners of the contest were !@#M$%^ with 405 posts in the thread, followed by "j" (a.k.a. Groudon) with 123 posts, and third came contest originator Jirachu with 116 posts in the thread.
