This is a lo-fi version of Glitch City Laboratories, meant for backup purposes. Everyone is encouraged to download a backup of the site every time one is made available, to prevent loss of all the research and data contained within GCL, should the website crash or something, which would really suck. It is one of three usable MissingNo. equivalents. It shares similar qualities as the Red/Blue version Kabutops fossil MissingNo. It also has MissingNo.'s Item duplicating ability.
Although the Red/Blue version equivalent can be found via the Old Man trick the glitch doesn't work on Green so the ditto trick is needed.

Qualities of the duplicant MissingNo.
Duplicant MissingNos., unlike their regular, "blocky" counterparts, do not have a fixed movepool and Stats. Instead, the Duplicant MissingNo's stats and movepool (hereafter referred to as "attributes") are variable, and can be modified after its capture. This is a short guide that explains how the Duplicant MissingNo attains its attributes upon capture and how they are modified.
- In the Wild:
- When met in battle, they may copy the starting moves of the Pokémon who attacked last in a previous battle. For example, if your Bulbasaur beat your opponent's Squirtle, then the next Duplicant MissingNO. you encounter will be Grass/Poison Type and have Bulbasaur's starting moves, but if your Bulbasaur was beaten by a Charmander, then the Duplicant MissingNO. you encounter will be Fire-type and have Charmander's starting moves.
- They may also copy the starting moves and type of the last Pokémon you saw in the Hall of Fame or PokéDex. For example, if you look at Golbat's PokéDex entry then battle a Duplicant MissingNO., then the MissingNO. will have Golbat's starting moves and will be Flying/Poison type.
- Please note that if you do encounter a Duplicant MissingNO. and hope to catch it after you have tweaked it, using another Duplicant MissingNO. would be your best option. Using any other Pokémon, including "Blocky" MissingNOs, will change the type/moves to its own attributes.
- That said, if you encounter a Duplicant MissingNO. you can put a powerful Pokémon like Mew in front so when you catch it, it will have Mew's attributes.
- When in the party you can change your Duplicant MissingNO's attributes.
- Whenever a Pokémon is positioned last in your party, all the Duplicant MissingNO's will copy that Pokémon's type and attributes, but NOT its moves.
- This also applies to Pokémon viewed in the Hall of Fame, PokéDex, and the scrolling Pokémon marquee at the game intro. A very nifty thing about this property is that it effectively allows Duplicant MissingNo. to learn all TM/HM moves. For example, if you want to teach your Duplicant MissingNo, for example, Explosion, simply look up Voltorb's or Koffing's PokeDex entry, then the TM for Explosion immediately works on the Duplicant MissingNo.
